Criteria for placement in groups include: balancing groups by age, sex, and race and creating the best possible group dynamics. Final decisions about placement are made by the administrative staff in consultation with teachers. Children must be 3 by September 1 and fully toilet-trained to enroll. Initial enrollment is for the full 6 weeks only.
Families wanting 3-week sessions or with children not yet toilet trained should complete this application and submit it without payment to be placed on waiting lists in order of date received. As appropriate spaces become available for 3-week or recently toilet trained campers, the $100 initial payment will be required to hold the space. Families of children with special needs should meet with the Child Development/Inclusion Director prior to enrollment to determine the appropriateness of the camp program for their child.
Camp meets Monday through Thursday, 9:30-12:30. The cost of the program is $780. Tentative camp class lists will be distributed by May 15.
Priority for enrollment is given in the following order: 1) Children currently enrolled in classes at Cherry Preschool 2) Children accepted for classes beginning in September, 2016 3) Children who do not attend Cherry Preschool

Warren W. Cherry Preschool is an independent, parent-governed, not-for-profit, non-sectarian preschool open to all children in our community. The school admits students of any race, color and national or ethnic origin, and does not discriminate in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid program, or other school administered programs. Cherry Preschool exists without the sponsorship of a larger institution, thus enjoying independence, stability, and the benefits of being able to focus all its energies on innovative, developmentally appropriate early childhood educational programs. As an independent school, however, there are financial burdens that heighten the role of fundraising to cover the cost of more than the basic program. To provide our children with enriching activities, compensate our staff fairly, and include children with special needs and children who are economically disadvantaged, families are required to volunteer their time and energy in support of the school.
By checking this box I acknowledge that I have read the tuition and parental participation agreements and agree to all of the terms stated in them.
